These are included in the package to ensure that your cremation costs are completely covered right from the time of you pre-arranging your cremation service. This means that the Pre-Need Cremation Package is different to today’s price to ensure that all future costs are met, and your family are not required to contribute to your cremation costs.
How Prepaid Cremation Works
Complete Arrangements Online
To pre-arrange your cremation, simply complete our Pre-Arrangement form online. Once received, our team will gently guide you through all the associated costs and the cooling-off period, ensuring absolute clarity and understanding. We are committed to ensuring that your wishes for the cremation are fully met, and we’ll take the time to address every detail with care. Additionally, we’ll handle all necessary paperwork swiftly and efficiently, ensuring everything is meticulously prepared for easy signing. Rest assured, we’re here to provide gentle support and assistance throughout this process.
Your Funds are Secured in Trust
After your online arrangement is complete, you’ll have a comforting 30-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel your cremation contract if needed. Following this period, your funds will be securely held in trust by Sureplan Friendly Society. This ensures that your money is safeguarded until it’s required to cover your cremation expenses, providing you with peace of mind. We will send you your Sureplan Documents to sign and return to us, once your online arrangement is complete.
Make Your Wishes Known
Once you have all your documents, it’s important to communicate your wishes to your family and anyone involved in managing your estate. Consider leaving a copy of your cremation arrangements alongside your will and any other important documents. This ensures that your wishes are clearly understood and can be easily implemented when the time comes, alleviating any potential stress or uncertainty for your loved ones.

Funeral Bond
A Funeral Bond is a secure investment option specifically designed to help individuals save for their funeral expenses. The funds deposited into a funeral bond accumulate interest over time and are only released upon the death of the bondholder, ensuring that the money is used solely for covering funeral costs. This financial product offers peace of mind by ensuring your loved ones won’t be burdened with out-of-pocket funeral expenses during an emotionally challenging time.
A funeral bond also comes with tax benefits, as the money invested is typically exempt from the assets test when calculating pension entitlements, making it a smart financial tool for those looking to protect their savings. You can also choose how much you want to contribute to the bond, allowing you to plan and pay for your funeral at your own pace.
Pre-planning and pre-paying a cremation with Brisbane Cremation is a good idea for several reasons. Firstly, it locks in today’s prices for future funeral services, shielding you and your family from the rising costs of funerals over time. This ensures that when the time comes, your cremation services will already be paid for, eliminating any financial stress on your loved ones.
Brisbane Cremation specializes in offering affordable, dignified cremation services with the highest level of care and compassion. By prepaying your cremation, you give yourself and your family peace of mind, knowing that every detail is planned according to your wishes. Pre-planning also allows you to customize the service to reflect your personal values and preferences, ensuring that your final farewell is both meaningful and respectful.
With Brisbane Cremation, you can rest assured that your pre-planned cremation will be handled with professionalism and care, allowing your loved ones to focus on healing and remembering you.

My Funeral Plan
Planning a funeral is something that our family will all have to do at one time or another. It is a heartbreaking and confronting time, having to make decisions without knowing what you truly wanted and how you wanted your life celebrated.
Having your funeral wishes clearly detailed, organised, and available for your family, removes some of the pressure on your family and allows your final wishes to be honoured and carried out. Making your funeral wishes known also allows your family to focus on the important things, like being there for one another, acknowledging and expressing their grief and remembering all the wonderful memories they made with you.
To make this process as easy and simple as possible, we have created My Funeral Plan. My Funeral Plan walks you through the process of planning your funeral wishes and gives you the opportunity to define how you want your life celebrated.
Combined with a prepaid funeral bond, you can alleviate all the stress factors associated with planning a funeral and have complete control of how you say goodbye.
Once you have completed My Funeral Plan, simply drop into our office and we will securely store it on file, along with details of your funeral financial arrangements, and will provide the executor of your estate with a copy of your funeral plan for their records.
We will take care of everything when the time comes and be there for your family when it’s time to say goodbye. If you would like some support from one of our family to complete My Funeral Plan or to arrange a legal will kit, please feel free to call us on 1300 110 138 or pop into our office and we would be more than happy to assist you.
